When you buy a piano, it really is best to make a careful comparison so you can find the right one. We therefore always stock a wide range of different makes and models so you can do this properly under one roof. We use all our experience to select the pianos we stock, in terms of tone, quality and price, so you can rely on our expertise and choose from the best options available.

Here is a review of the pianos we generally favour. This does provide a useful guide but buying a piano should be a personal decision and we think it is still best to reserve any judgement until you can hear and try the pianos for yourself.

One of the best known names in pianos, this is a top quality German make that has excellent clarity and projection with a superb richness of tone. At the same time it has all the subtle range of sounds you would need as well.

Made in the Czech Republic from a long heritage of piano making, these high quality pianos have a rich bass and clear treble providing a very romantic tone.

Now such a well known brand worldwide, deservedly so based on their consistency and durability. There are several series made to different quality levels. They provide a fine bright tone with great clarity and definition.

Kawai is a major Japanese brand and offers a warmer mellow tone in the middle and higher quality ranges.

An English made piano which uses Yamaha action components in a range of alternative cabinet styles. It still retains its own distinctive clear fresh sound and all models are in the higher quality range.

A more moderate priced piano made by the Samick company, a major international manufacturer. These have a good action giving a light touch on the keys, with a medium to bright tone. There is also a high quality Academy series based on a German made upright.

One of the best Chinese made pianos available, moderately priced but with a very sweet sound and rich bass.

Another of the better Chinese pianos with an especially warm mellow sound.

Weber pianos were originate from the well respected Young Chang manufacturer. They offer a nice rich tone at a very good price.

Also a more moderate priced piano but with a good clear tone and an attractive cabinet option.

We stock digital pianos by Kawai and Yamaha. These can be useful where digital has to be the preferred option because of space or the need for frequent portability. We do advise careful comparison with the real pianos so you can be sure you are choosing the right option.
