 Advice for Schools and Institutions

For any school or college, or indeed churches and other institutions, a piano is a large capital investment. It is therefore doubly important to choose the right one, both for the type of venue and for the purpose it will be used.

We have supplied many pianos to this type of situation over the years and we can provide experienced advice on the most appropriate options available so you can be sure of using the precious budget carefully.

Many of the factors mentioned in our how to buy a piano section will be relevant to any choice and are well worth referring to. In particular, the size of the piano is crucial to ensure it has the volume and depth required, especially if used for concerts and performances. The quality should also be adequate to get the years of use expected.

The preparation and after sales support we offer is also vital for this type of piano purchase, so it is also useful to read about our commitment to this as well.

We always advise to fit safety castors and frames to pianos in public use, especially if they may be subject to being moved at any time. We can arrange for this to be carried out on any pianos we supply.

We are very keen for pianos to be used in both education and in community settings, as indeed are most manufacturers and suppliers. This often allows us to arrange extra promotional discounts where this is appropriate. So give us a call and we will help with both the piano selection and finding a favourable quote.

"Just to let you know that the piano has been very well received by all…… The children love it and even though their singing has always been good, I have noticed a huge improvement. So thank you for all your help, patience and advice."
